Guys, I'm off! Tomorrow at 7 in the morning bf J and I will get in the airplane to Londen. There we'll have to wait for 5 hours and then we will leave to New York!

I'm so exited! Can't wait! When I'm back I'll post some great photo's and tell you all about our adventures! BYE!

See a secret, share a secret Part I

Oohw, I really like this blog. It's one of my favourites. Right now I was looking for just some examples and I found myself surving for hours reading the cards. And I couldn't just pick one. So the upcoming weeks I'll post some I really like.

Most probably everyone knows about Postsecret, but here's a little summary. It's an ongoing community mail art project, created by Frank Warren, in which people mail their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard. Select secrets are then posted on the PostSecret website and on the blog.

The postcards are very addictive, because they are so completely honest and right in your face. It makes you think about the people who made and send them en gives you a little inside of other peoples minds. If the secrets are true or not is up to you to decide, but it’s a perfect example of a great success.

I also found a blog of someone else who wrote about Postsecret: "While we're on the subject, let me just say that getting behind on your Postsecret RSS feed is not recommended. You might find youself reading four weeks' worth of secrets in one sitting, and that'll leave you mentally exhausted and emotionally spent. I feel like some part of me just got hit with a cement truck." I completely agree. It's addictive. Maybe I'll buy a book about it when I'm in NY (which now is only two nights of sleep away! AAH!)

How wrong can you be?

Yesterday I went with my mom to the movie theater to see the movie The Reader. Great movie. Really sad. Here I totally understand (in comparison with Sean Penn in Milk) why they gave Kate Winslet the Oscar for best actress!

And now I can actually say that I don't understand why they gave the Oscar to Sean Penn, because last saterday I went with both my dad and mom to see the movie Milk. I did like the movie. It's a bit of history. But I didn't thought the acting of Sean Penn was that great.. But that's mine opinion ;-)..

Sooner or later it all comes crashing down

This friday I'm probably going to a festival at Rotterdam were N*E*R*D will perform! A few days ago I had an e-mail that I could win tickets to this festival and I thought I would already be too late to respond, but I also thought: 'Hee, if I don't try I'll never get them..' So I tried and a couple minutes later I already had an e-mail back, that I won! I really love N*E*R*D so this will be great. The only thing is that most of my friends are on their holiday so I'm not sure if someone will go with me. But if they won't I'll still go. Nothing can stop me ;-)!
