"It's a BANJO!"
Since my brother showed me a clip of Mumford and Sons in the beginning of February I was eager to see them play life. Unfortunately they didn't performed at any of the festivals I went to this year (which is quite amazing if you think about the amount of festivals they played at and the amount of festivals I visited. It wasn't meant to be I guess), but luckly I was able to get tickets to a concert of them.
The concert was one week ago and I still get very hyper when I think about it. The concert itself was already great, but I could never have dreamed it would be this amazing. After the first part of the concert was over and they came back on the stage to sing two more songs they told the audiance they wanted to do something special, because they had never played in such a big 'room'. They pointed to the back of the hall and said "See you later". After a view minutes some people started to scream somewhere in the hall, but we couldn't see anything. After a while the crowd split up and Mumford and Sons and the band Old Crow Medicine Show (I had never heard of them before, but after this concert I LOVE them! YouTube them!) walked straight at us. At first I screamd: "Aah, they are going to walk straight next to us!". But then when they stood infront of us they stopped and started to play the song Wagon Wheel. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears, but it was really happening. I made this video, so you can imagine how lucky I was!
Great, great evening! Mumford and Sons and Old Crow Medicine Show are for always in my heart. They can't ruin it anymore ;-)!.

Those crazy hazy days
This week is great! Yesterday evening I went with J. to a concert of She and Him. I actually know the band only for like three weeks now, but I'm in love with them and the concert was perfect! I've got a little girl crush on Zooey, but I also think Mister Ward has the coolest voice. I would loved to hear him sing more solos. It was a fantastic evening.
And the fun is not over yet! Tonight I'm also going with J. and A. and F. to a concert. This time it's going to be Mika. Completely different kind of music. I think it's going to be a little party! Looking forward to it! Only 10 minutes of internship for today left!

You know I'm here waiting for you
Last sunday I had the best day. First I went with my dad to a soccer match (yes I'm a soccer girl, an Ajax girl to be exact) that went really well, because they won with 5 against 1. That already made my day. In the evening we knew there would be a concert of Franz Ferdinand next to the stadium. We also knew that altough the concert was sold out, there still were a lot of tickets on sale online. Because we both like Franz and we had no other plans we thought: "Why don't we try to get cheap tickets?" (when we went to the Arctic Monkeys a lot of men stood outside the Heineken Music Hall to still sell tickets for a very low price). So we called a guy who said on the internet he would be at the concert hall before the concert en we bargaind and before we knew it, we had two tickets for only 45 euro's (the real price was 35 euro's for one ticket!).. This all was great, but because I did't anticipated this to happen I didn't listened to all of his music so I didn't really knew what to expact, but in the end the concert was amazing! I actually knew a lot of his songs and the ones I didn't knew were still very danceble. It was a surprisingly great evening!

Cause he's a scumbag don't you know
The concert was great! I went with my brother and some of his friends and my parents were also somewhere in the hall. Here are some movies to understand the atmosphere. Altough I didn't knew all the songs it was a great evening. I wanted to see them for ages, so it was very nice to finally see them in real life. The only sad thing I noticed was that their hairdresser probably died or something, because they didn't even looked closely to the picture I posted two days ago.. ;-)!
