Great photo skills :-P. This one is actually the best one I made, so you can probably imagine how the rest looked like..
Yesterday I went with my brother to the opening of the Giro d'Italia. I actually had to work on some stuff for school, but after waking up at 12:00 (!!) I already knew it wouldn't be a very productive day ;-). And ofcourse it's very special that the Giro is so close by now! I like cycling. In Holland we do it all the time, but not like this ofcourse ;-). In July the Tour de France is also starting in Holland, but then In Rotterdam. That's a bit further away, but still quite interesthing to go to. We'll see..
First of all, I want to sincerely apologise for not posting for four days! Yesterday I went to a birthday party of my friend S. and some of my friends (I won't call names, F. & J. :-P) were not very happy about me not posting and they wondered where I've been this weekend that I didn't post. Sorry guys!
Saturday it was the 5th of December what meant that it was 'Sinterklaasavond'. I don't celebrate it with gifts with my family (We celebrate Christmas with gifts, but I will celebrate it with my lovely friends in one and a half week!), but my grandpa, aunt and uncle did come to our house and we ate together which was really nice. (I did get the British Vogue (december) of my aunt and a ticket whereby I need to open a new box each day and if I'm lucky I could win a lot of money, so fingers crossed!)
On Sunday I went with my mom to Amsterdam and there we saw the Dutch most famous designers Viktor and Rolf! They were signing a fairytail book they made. Really cool, but the book was too expensive for me so I only watched. But it was so cool! They were really kind and also quite normal. I always thought they were a bit strange, but now my opinion changed completely! I made a lot of photos, but I can't find my cord to get them on my computer. When I'll find it, I will show them to you!
For now a funny trailer of a documentary about the truth around Santa :-).
Last sunday I had the best day. First I went with my dad to a soccer match (yes I'm a soccer girl, an Ajax girl to be exact) that went really well, because they won with 5 against 1. That already made my day. In the evening we knew there would be a concert of Franz Ferdinand next to the stadium. We also knew that altough the concert was sold out, there still were a lot of tickets on sale online. Because we both like Franz and we had no other plans we thought: "Why don't we try to get cheap tickets?" (when we went to the Arctic Monkeys a lot of men stood outside the Heineken Music Hall to still sell tickets for a very low price). So we called a guy who said on the internet he would be at the concert hall before the concert en we bargaind and before we knew it, we had two tickets for only 45 euro's (the real price was 35 euro's for one ticket!).. This all was great, but because I did't anticipated this to happen I didn't listened to all of his music so I didn't really knew what to expact, but in the end the concert was amazing! I actually knew a lot of his songs and the ones I didn't knew were still very danceble. It was a surprisingly great evening!
It's already two whole weeks ago that my bff J and I went to the concert of Lily Allen in the Melkweg in Amsterdam.
I'm a big fan of Lily for more than 3 years now, so when I heard the news that she's was coming to The Netherlands I was immediately exhilerated and couldn't wait to buy the tickets so I would be sure that I would actually go. I even didn't discuss it with J, but send her a text massage the moment I bought the tickets and forced her to go. She didn't mind it at all and loved the concert just as much as me.
I thought the concert was absolutely great and I love Lily now even more. I can't wait to see her at Sziget!
