Tip of the iceberg

I'm still not sure if the bad things are all over now or that this is just a single positive thing, but yesterday I won two tickets for the premiere of the documentary/thriller Catfish.

After I got the message I read some comments on Twitter and they were not all positive, so now I don't really know what to do. Have you already seen it? Please tell me, was it worth it?

"Maybe he has never been to a mall?"

First of all, I want to sincerely apologise for not posting for four days! Yesterday I went to a birthday party of my friend S. and some of my friends (I won't call names, F. & J. :-P) were not very happy about me not posting and they wondered where I've been this weekend that I didn't post. Sorry guys!

Saturday it was the 5th of December what meant that it was 'Sinterklaasavond'. I don't celebrate it with gifts with my family (We celebrate Christmas with gifts, but I will celebrate it with my lovely friends in one and a half week!), but my grandpa, aunt and uncle did come to our house and we ate together which was really nice. (I did get the British Vogue (december) of my aunt and a ticket whereby I need to open a new box each day and if I'm lucky I could win a lot of money, so fingers crossed!)

On Sunday I went with my mom to Amsterdam and there we saw the Dutch most famous designers Viktor and Rolf! They were signing a fairytail book they made. Really cool, but the book was too expensive for me so I only watched. But it was so cool! They were really kind and also quite normal. I always thought they were a bit strange, but now my opinion changed completely! I made a lot of photos, but I can't find my cord to get them on my computer. When I'll find it, I will show them to you!

For now a funny trailer of a documentary about the truth around Santa :-).

Inside Anna's world

Last weekend it was a filmweekend in my home town. The whole weekend, from the morning till past midnight they showed all kind of cool movies inside the theatre. Unfortunately, on the saturday I didn't had time to see any of the movies they played, because my parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniverserie with a big party. Altough the party was really fantastic, I missed the movie New York, I love you, which I really wanted to see..

Yesterday I did had time and altough nobody else could come with me, that didn't stop me from going. So I went and saw the documentary 'The September Issue'. I thought it was fascinating. I really loved Anna's and Grace's eye for detail and their workspirit, but what structed me was that it looked like they didn't enjoyed doing it at all. They looked sad, tired and alone.

Before the movie started, the famous Dutch couturier Edgar Vos (who worked for Dior) told something about his work and what he thought about the movie. That was also very interesting. I'm really glad I went, it was the perfect sunday afternoon.

Dear Zachary

Most of the times I write happy posts about happy things, but last night I saw this movie / documentary and it wasn't a happy one at all, but it did was very impressive and shocking. I never heard about this documentary, but after a few minutes I was already totally into the story.

It's a 'letter' made by a friend of a guy who got murdered by his girlfriend who's pregnant of his son. He makes a trip through America whereby he talkes with friends of the guy who's killed. When I watched it I felt so sad about that little boy and also thought that it would not be nice to hear all those people talk so badly about his mom (altough she murdered his dad, it's still his mom).. But when I thought: The movie will now be soon over, there was an other part of half a hour whereby I couldn't believe my eyes! Horrible, just horrible.. But also very impressive and a nice gesture of the maker to his friend..

Sigh... Michael Cera..

Oohw, why is that Michael Cera so damn cute? I loved him in Juno and now I really need to see this movie.

Next to the Michael and his cuteness factor, it's also a really sweet story. It's about Charlyne YI who's making a documentary about love and while she's filming the documentary she actually falls in love, with cuty Michael (I added the word cute in case you didn't noticed how I felt about him ;-)).. A story whereby you can keep your faith in love..
