Turin - Milan, day 2 - 3 (final)

A tiny, beautiful church. We were the only persons in the church (except for one old men who cleaned the floor) and that was really special. It's nice to sit quitely in a church and to be all alone with your thoughts.

The national film museum housed in a very high, but beautiful building (the Mole Antonelliana). My mom and I did'n went into the museum, because we didn't had time and we also thought we would'n know any of the Italian films, but it looked great! We did go in the elevator to the top of the building to have a very nice view.

A part of the view. The elevator was made from glass btw. My mom loved it, but I thought it was scary as hell! I love 'scary' rides in ausement parks, but I hate depths. If I stand on a high building, it's no problem, but you should not put me in a ferris wheel or a elevator from glass ;-).

In the evening I went to my dad (he was in a bar with my brother and some friends) and together we went to the match Juventus-Ajax. Ajax lost the game unfortunately, but it was still a great night :-).

The next day we went back to Milan. Because we had some time left before we had to go to the airport, we went for a quick hour to the center of Milan to eat a last ice cream. When we left the subway, we walked over this stairs. I wrote about such a stairs a couple months ago, so I loved to see it in real and to notice that it really worked!

Milan, day 1, part 2

I don't really know what kind of building this is, but I do know it was beautiful...

The day after we were in Milan the fashion week started. There were a lot of nice dressed people in the city, but I don't know if that's just normal or not. I did get inspired a lot. Unfortunately I was so 'scared' for the cold because of the last months in The Netherlands that I was dressed very warm, but not that fashionable. So when I came back home the first thing I did was dressing up pretty :-)..

In the evening we went to the San Siro stadium, because the soccermatch Internazionale - Chelsea was happening there. We did not had tickets, but we thought it would be nice to just walk around the stadium. When we got there, there were a lot of men who wanted to sell tickets to us for a big price. We didn't wanted to pay such a price, but after a while the match started and they still got their tickets, so at last they sold us three tickets for only 40 euro, which is very, very cheap for a Champions League match.

Then, when we had the tickets we still had to get inside the stadium and that wasn't so easy as we thought, because they didn't wanted to let people in who bought a ticket at the black market. After a while my dad smooth talked to a guy and then we we did got in.

And it was so much fun! Those Italian people are really funny to sit in between. They are so enthousiastic! I didn't care at all about the match and who would win, but when I sad between them I just did like I wanted Internazionale to win. The match ended in a win for Inter, so the atmosphere was great :-)!

Milan, day 1, part 1

A lot of soccer scarfs. On the bottem left you see a scarf with the name Sneijder on it. That's a great Dutch soccerplayer who plays now for Internazionale, so it was really nice to see they are proud of him.

A Italian collegue of mine advised me to go to a bakery called Luini and get a panzerotti. It was absolutely worth it! When we came there, there was a line to get into the shop with only Italian (and some Japanese) people. It's hard to explain what a panzarotti it. It's kind off a fried roll filled with mozzarella and tomatoes, so so nice!

Off again

Today I will leave for a couple of days to Milan and Turin :-). On thursday Ajax (yeah, yeah.. me = soccergirl) needs to play against Juventus, so that's the reason I'm going there. And because I'm already going there, it was a good excuse to go some extra days ;-)

I'm really looking forward to it. These are my last free days before I start my internship for the next 5 months! So I really need to enjoy every moment (starting with some nice pizza and ice cream ;-)..)!

School, school and euhm, did I mention school?

Oef, I've been a bad, bad blogger! I just had some really busy weeks. I'm a third year student (Media, Information and Communication Management, direction Information and Media) and in my first year I missed some weeks of school caused by the not so nice disease Pfeiffer. In that period I had to make a website. Because I wasn't able to do it than and because of laziness last year I'm now at a point I have to make it or otherwise I'll probably have a major (how Victoria Beckham of me) problem.. So I'm doing it and it seems not that difficult at all! But it is a lot of work (I have to make a website like they did in the Stone Age, with only html-codes).. I also still had to got to work, shop, go to the carnival and loads of other stuff, so the blogging wasn't my first priority.. I'll try to be better ;-), but I can't promise anything, because next week I'll be for a couple of days in Milan and Turin, Italy. Yeah, I know. Life can be hard :-P..
